Trial Eligibility

  • Each particular trial will have guidelines by which an applicant's eligibility is determined. Factors such as the current Stage of a patient's mesothelioma, the previous treatments used and the presence of other diseases or physical conditions will be considered. It is always necessary to contact the Clinical Trial directly and ask for eligibility requirements and additional information.

Please see the next section titled current trials to see if you are currently eligible for any of the trials going on now.

Current News

The latest statistics show that between 1980 and 2000, over 8,000 men and over 1,000 women died from Mesothelioma. If someone in your family has been affected by this grave disease, you may be legally entitled to financial compensation to help cover your losses.

What are the long-term effects of the disease?

A mesothelioma is a highly aggressive tumor that is generally deadly. Current treatment of malignant mesothelioma is designed to make the person with cancer comfortable. Although long-term survival cannot usually be expected, the case of famed paleontologist Stephen Jay Gould is a noted exception.
